Shropshire Gas Bidding on Success

Shropshire Gas Telford has announced the appointment of new senior office staff in its maintenance bidding business as part of its growth strategy. As part of their role, new staff will have responsibility for the development of an integrated repairs and maintenance service for customers, both locally and regionally.

By ensuring that operational efficiencies gained on Shropshire social housing contracts are recognised and harnessed, the Shropshire Gas bid process will be further strengthened. Jim Walton Director Shropshire Gas is responsible for all strategic bidding activity for maintenance services across the Shropshire region, with Thomas Murray providing the same service in the south Cheshire and West Staffordshire. Their roles with the new staff will require working across the wider Shropshire Gas, oil and multi fuel business to develop a more integrated offering for heating maintenance and repair services.

Commenting on the new recruitment drive, Jim Walton Shropshire Gas Director said, “Shropshire Gas has an enviable brand reputation. I’m looking forward to combining our new bid team with my experience to build upon the company’s existing platform to win new business. Our new staff bring a broad understanding of the heating services market and best practice asset management covering total facilities management, information technology and business process outsourcing. Thomas Murray Director added, “I am delighted the new members have joined our progressive organisation that has demonstrated a significant commitment to growing its business. I look forward to working alongside a strong team to enhance the provision of innovative heating service solutions which will be crucial to reinforcing our leading position in the Shropshire Heating Services sector”.
