School Donation helps young people ‘THINK BIG’

Shropshire Gas ‘THINK BIG’ program has given its assistance supporting another year of Grove School Market Drayton Merit Awards.

Malcolm Carter Market Drayton based Director of Shropshire Gas said, “We recognise the challenges faced by young school people and are proud to support local education rewards through our ‘THINK BIG’ program. Our ‘THINK BIG’ funding is designed to help develop and reward education achievements, innovation and creativity. We have funded the Grove School Merit Awards for a number of years which recognises our aims and supports the local school. This important sponsorship from Shropshire Gas helps improve important learning skills and recognises the achievements of young people”. Malcolm Carter added “Shropshire Gas has enjoyed supporting the Grove School over recent years. In the current economic climate it is even more important that young people develop education and employability skills such as communication, team work and problem solving. Our ‘THINK BIG’ contribution scheme will go some way to help this excellent Grove School initiative”

Dorothy Hanney School Governor said “Shropshire Gas has always been a very keen and enthusiastic helper of our School. We are very grateful to Malcolm Carter, Shropshire Gas for his ongoing commitment. Supporting us financially helps to reward the developing of skills and achievements of our hard working young people.
