Shropshire Gas Wins District Council Heating Maintenance Contract
Shropshire Gas, the counties specialist multi fuel heating company, has won a new social housing contract in North Shropshire. A team of dedicated Gas Engineers and office staff will be appointed to undertake gas maintenance on behalf of North Shropshire District Council. Over 2,000 council homes across the district will now have their gas and oil central heating, gas and solid fuel fires serviced by engineers from Shropshire Gas.
Malcolm Carter of Shropshire Gas said: “We’re delighted to be working on a contract of such a substantial size and spread across a wide geographical area. The number of homes involved in this programme highlights our ability to co-ordinate high quality gas maintenance services on a grand scale. This success reinforces that Shropshire Gas is a very experienced and professional organisation, with a proven track record of delivering quality heating maintenance services to the social housing sector.” Malcolm added “My co-directors, James Walton and Thomas Murray, are the best people to deliver a real improvement in gas services to the tenants of North Shropshire District Council.”
